The HSBC credit card selection is issued by one of the world's largest financial group of companies-HSBC. HSBC or the Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation, is based in Hong Kong with its head office located in London. It was established in Hong Kong by Thomas Sutherland in 1865, to finance the growing trade between China and Europe. The BusinessWeek in 2005 reported, "With retail, private, and investment banking operations in 76 countries, the world's local bank is fast becoming a major force in financial services."

Some of its credit cards cater specifically for persons with bad credit allowing them the opportunity to save and thus build or repair their credit.

Some of the HSBC credit card offers include:

  • The Orchard Bank MasterCard - This card allows you to establish or repair your credit. Anywhere you go, it guarantees acceptance and buying power. It will help you manage everyday finances – from unexpected expenses to opportunities you can’t pass up. Some of the benefits include:

  • The GM Flexible Earnings Card - Earn 1% cash back on all purchases, or 1% towards any vehicle, or 3% towards any new eligible GM car, truck or SUV. You also get a great Introductory APR offer and no annual fee. Other benefits include:

    • No annual fee

    • Online account access

    • Online balance transfers

  • The other HSBC Credit Card I want to tell you about is the Union Plus MasterCard. It offers you really great money saving benefits and Triple Plus Features that no other card can match. These features include:

    • FREE Rewards Program designed for hard-working union members.

    • Get 2,000 bonus points after first purchase, more than halfway to a $25 Gift Card.

    • Earn 1 Point for every dollar spent anywhere

    • Earn 2 Points for every dollar spent at gas stations, grocery stores, and drug stores.

    • No Balance Transfer Fees and APR stays FIXED until the balance is paid in full*.

    • 1.99% introductory APR on new purchases*. All Calls answered in the United States.

    • No annual fee and No liability for unauthorized use.

So if you are looking for a card but you have a very bad credit rating, or you have not yet established a credit history, then I'd like to suggest that you take a good look at and seriously consider the HSBC credit card offers.
