I
am Christopher Phillips and this is me here - to your
left - with my daughter having fun. She loves the
movie Madagasca - especially the line with the penguins
-"Just smile and wave boys. Just smile and wave."
So we were doing just that.
I have been involved in the I.T. field
for the past 18 years. During that time, I have
seen the evolution of the Internet, and was both amazed
and intrigued about the easy with which information was
made available.
As time went by, I saw not only
information being made available on the Internet, but
more and more businesses going online, selling their
products and services. There was literally an
explosion of ecommerce on the Internet at an
unprecedented rate that was difficult to keep up with.
I became quite sure that it was very
possible to earn an honest income using the resources of
the Internet. So in 2000, I created my first
online business using Microsoft Publisher, selling third
party products. Many of my friends call me a
perfectionist and maybe I am. I have a passion for
doing things well. So it was not long after
creating my first site, that I felt it was not looking
good enough. So I set about teaching myself Microsoft
Frontpage, and I used this to recreate my first site.
Now I must say that stage, I did not know a whole lot
about starting an online business. I thought that
building the website was the difficult part and that
once you had your site up and running, traffic would
come automatically. WRONG! Building the site
turned out to be the easiest part. The hard part
was yet to come - getting traffic to your site. In
fact, not just traffic, but targeted traffic.
I tried all kinds of traffic generating
strategies - some were just gimmicks, while others were
too time consuming and costly. I spent a lot of
time, effort and money trying to build traffic to my
site. I grew frustrated at times but I was
determine to succeed. I thought that if others are doing
it, then it must be possible. I just had to find
the way. And so I never gave up.
In 2004, I was presented with an
opportunity to become an affiliate, selling credit
cards, and I thought this was a great market since the
average American owned on average 5 credit cards. And so
I created another site specifically to promote these
credit cards. I was getting traffic, but no where
near the volume I wanted for this to work the way I knew
it should.
I was signing up for all kind of Internet
marketing newsletters and so one day I got an email
telling me about this company called Site Built-It
or SBI for short, and their 'revolutionary system' for
successfully creating and maintaining a website from
conception all the way to completion. You cannot
imagine how sceptical I was about that. I thought,
"No! Not another scheme to swindle me of my hard earned
cash", and I dismissed it. But in the corner of my
mind, the 'what if's' started playing over and over -
What if this works. What if it is what you have
been looking for all these years. What if this is the
tool you need to finally build a successful online
business.... What if . . . . . What if . . . . .
And it went on and on, until finally I gave in and
decided to at least look at it. What I saw
really caught my interest. They took a completely
different approach to creating a website from what I had
become accustomed to.
I did research on SBI, and I remember
actually looking for fraud. I went to google,
entered the company name and fraud together, hoping to
find negative information about them. Well to my
great surprise I found none at all. Then I started
looking for others who had used the system. Again
I was surprised to see that all those I found were doing
quite well! So I turned my attention to SBI and
started looking at their online videos, and the very
first one I looked at started by saying, "Imagine if you
could build a professional website, and drive thousands
of warm, targeted, open-to-buy visitors to it every
day", and I thought "Hey! That's exactly what I want to
do." That sold me! Not too long after that,
I purchased the package, and this site - Personal Credit
Guide is my first site using SBI. So far, it is
coming along really well and is right on course to be my
very first successful online business, where the site is
professional, contains valuable information, and is
attracting highly targeted traffic.
So if you are now starting out on the
Internet or you have been involved in it for some time
now, but you are not getting the desired results, then I
strongly recommend that you give SBI a go. You do
not have to waste the time, effort and money that I did.
This is your head start to get ahead early so that you
too can join the very many successful SBI'ers singing
the SBI anthem, "I Love My SBI".
